| This
architectural masterpiece is built from an exquisite 1889 North
Pacific Railway Pullman car that was cut in half and integrated into
the ingenious structure. It has 1900 square feet on three levels with
2 bedrooms and 2 baths.
The main floor features a Pullman car dining room
with its original mahogany paneling and brass fixtures, a designer
living room filled with art objects from around the world, and a
charming and cozy den/TV room.
Upstairs is an eagle's nest study surrounded by
Indonesian and Bhutanese artifacts. There is a breathtaking view from
the study and the adjacent south-facing deck. Downstairs
is the spacious master suite with a Jacuzzi tub and multiple closets.
This outstanding floating home was built by Keith
Emons over eight years, from 1976 to 1984. The present owners have
lived her for ten years. It was also
on the 1998 Floating Homes Tour.
