BULLARR.BMP (1234 bytes)70 Issaquah Dock - Pirate

This 89 year old converted tugboat was purchased by its present owners in August 2000. Originally built by Delta Dredging, it has gone through many lives as it has been expanded, set into a concrete hull, and sided with intricately cut shingles. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

There is an absolutely charming galley and dining area with hand carved pedestal dining table and a fireplace. The master bathroom is Victorian. Filled with charm and history, one cannot help but love this houseboat.

There is an east-facing fantail deck off the living room, and a similar deck upstairs off the master bedroom. The Pirate has a large floating dock and expansive views of Richardson Bay. A former resident was the colorful 1940's actor Sterling Hayden.
